The shocking footage begins with the “creature” making his way through an open field, just feet away from a crowd of youths.
Colin Haggerty – who filmed the moment – can be heard saying: “That’s a f*****g Yeti, I’m not kidding. We’ve seen it multiple times.”
The mysterious figure begins making its way towards them as other members of the group scream in terror.
It seems to be aware it is being watched and at one point hides behind a bush out of view from the group.
In an attempt to gain the supposed beast’s attention, the group point a flashlight in its direction as the animal casually strolls through the field.
And moments later, it walks upright on two legs just like previous “sightings” of the mythical creature.
One person tries to palm it off as a prank, but the group fall silent as Colin responds: “It’s not a game.”
The footage was shot in Oregon, US, earlier this year and footage has since resurfaced on YouTube.
And it has sparked fierce debate online.
One wrote: “Seems genuine but you never know. The reactions were somewhat convincing.”
Another added: “We finally have proof!”
But others weren’t as convinced, claiming it may be a hoax.
“I couldn’t imagine a Bigfoot would be pimp walking through the fields in the wide open why kids film him,” a third commented.
And a fourth agreed, writing: “If I were walking across a field and someone was shining a flashlight on me that long, I’d be like ‘can I help you?’ Stop shining your flashlight on me!’ That’s the one thing I find off about the video.”
Samuel Anderson, who also uploaded footage of the sighting online, claims he has seen the animal running and jumping around the same area in the past.
